Dog owners are familiar with “happy tail,” that phenomenon whereby your dog’s tail wags here, there & everywhere to show happiness and joy, usually when they see us after an absence. Three dog owners have filed suit against the City of New Rochelle over the new licensing fees and regulations governing when dogs can be in Ward Acres Park. The city is charging non-residents who want to bring their dogs to the park five times what it is charging New Rochelle residents.

The pet food recall has widened as another company announces it is recalling some products. Natural Balance Pet Foods Inc. out of Pacoima, CA, is recalling its venison dog products and its dry venison cat food.

Most of the focus in the past couple of days has been on the people who have been evacuated from their homes due to flooding.
