Awesome P&C friend and contributor Diane just sent me these photos. It’s of the most adorable 2-month-old kitty (who’s up for adoption by the way), who weighs a mere 2.08 pounds, right before she went in for spay surgery (no gross photos I swear.)
Diane writes: “Her siblings had been adopted a few days previously and she was howling with loneliness. I was cuddling with her, keeping her company, and once she was given the pre-anesthetic, I took advantage of the photo-op. She had her spay surgery on Monday and is recuperating. Hopefully, she’ll be adopted into a loving, wonderful home.”
She’s at the SPCA of Westchester, 590 N. State Road, Briarcliff Manor (NY). Call 914-941-2896. I now give you the pics, with Di’s great captions. Thanks babe!
First there’s nose-to-nose kisses.
Second, the experienced vet professional must nuzzle the kitty. (True, Diane is an experienced vet tech).
The third is kissing the little creature’s face (and what a face!)
The fourth step requires a good luck kiss on the belly.
And the fifth step is to ensure the paws are happy.
Wouldn’t the world be great if we all had happy paws? 🙂
