This just in from Cat Assistance.
Animal Specialty Center co-founder, Dr. Jason M. Berg, will be honored at the Wags & Whiskers Annual Fundraising Gala hosted by Cat Assistance of Ardsley and Pet Adoption League of Yonkers on Friday, April 16, at the Coveleigh Club in Rye, New York.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the many homeless cats and dogs in the care of these two reputable and well established humane organizations.
“We’ve chosen to honor Dr. Berg because of his outstanding veterinary skill when it comes to quick diagnosis and effective treatment of some of our most difficult medical and surgical cases,” said Sarah Hart, President of Cat Assistance, a non-profit rescue group. “He has saved or enhanced the lives of so many pets as a result of his dedication and commitment to animal health and well being.”
Dr. Berg, a widely known and well respected veterinarian, is board certified in both internal medicine and neurology. He has practiced in the Westchester area for more than 10 years and resides in Tarrytown.
“I’m very pleased to be acknowledged by these two wonderful rescue groups that work tirelessly to save pets’ lives and find good homes for so many abandoned animals,” said Dr. Berg. “I look forward to a successful Gala and an evening of great fun! Please come out in support of this great cause.”
Wags & Whiskers kicks off at 7:00 p.m. The $75.00 per person ticket fee includes dinner, dessert, wine, silent auction and raffle prizes.
