Here’s a reminder of two events being held on behalf of the Putnam Humane Society, both at Northern Westchester Restorative & Nursing Home, Lexington Ave., Mohegan Lake. For info, call 845-225-7777.
• Adoption Day, Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Pet Food Drive, to help support local animal rescue groups and shelters, new unopened dog and cat food is being collected until Jan. 10.
