Even therapy dogs need a break

A while back I told you about the therapy dogs program at New York Methodist Hospital in Park Slope, Brooklyn, where P&C friend and contributor ilb works as a doctor. Well he recently sent me this update on the adorable and hard-working Tali and Monty. Tali is the 6-year-old Portuguese water dog, a rescue, and Monty is a full-size poodle (or puddle, if you’re ilb, but that’s another story.) Anyway, thanks for the pics doc. We start with Tali, who is taking a little break from making people very happy.

I think Tali’s expression says, “A couch would be nice so I could lay down.” And here is Monty, still on the job.

Such cuddly cuties!

How adorable! They have therapy dogs at Overlook Hospital here in NJ (Summit, NJ). And the therapy dogs are specifically for the staff!!!
Now that makes sense!
We have two more in the program, I’ll get their pics for sisterblog soon.
