Trooper goes national!

November
16

Congratulations to Trooper, a New Rochelle Humane Society pooch who is a finalist in the ASPCA’s 2009 “Show Off Your Top Dog” contest. Yes, I know you thought election season was over, but cast one last vote for Trooper and tell all your friends!

The contest, according to the ASPCA, is for shelters’ “diamonds on the ruff — you know, those deserving pooches who always seem to be overlooked by adopters….Our finalists will be promoted on the ASPCA.org and ASPCApro.org Web sites, and our top 3 winners will receive a copy of photographer Traer Scott’s book, Street Dogs.”

Well, I don’t know how excited Trooper is about the book….maybe some treats instead? Go vote! I already did….and better yet, why doesn’t someone give this guy a home.

About this blog
For most animal lovers, pets are members of the family. They carry around pictures in their wallets and schedule vacations with pets in mind. This blog takes a look into the world of a pet owner: the good, the bad and the just plain obsessive.
