The place for pets, and their owners

We love a warm yet dreary weekend

November
15

As P&C fans know, we here love warm weather and sunshine. Well, this weekend we didn’t get a lot of sun, but it sure was balmy for mid-November. The girls and I spent some time on the terrace over coffee and the papers Sunday, but more importantly for this post, Stanley spent quality nap time not on the heater (her cold-weather spot), but in her semi-new favorite place, a pillow on one of my couches.

The Saturday afternoon Ranger game was a snooze for her, but she perked up to say hi today. Then went back to sleep. Once again, I ask, is there anything cuter than a sleeping kitty?11-14-09_161911-14-09_174811-14-09_174911-15-09_1802

If you had a kitty this adorable, you’d blog about her too!

P.S. If you missed it, please read post below. Thanks.

    Mandlebaum!

A guy walks into a bar with a dog under his arm. The dog is wearing a NJ Devils jersey and is holding a Devils pennant.

The bartender says, “Hey! No pets allowed in here! You’ll have to leave!”

The man begs, “Look I’m desperate. We’re both big fans, my TV is broken, and this is the only place we can see the game! ”

After securing a promise that the dog will behave and warning him that if there is any trouble they will be thrown out, the bartender relents and allows them to stay in the bar and watch the game.

The game begins with the Devils winning the faceoff. They sweep across the blueline, fire a shot and it deflects twice, rings off the crossbar and in the net. With that the dog jumps up on the bar and begins walking up and down the bar barking and giving everyone a high-five.

The bartender says, “Wow that is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen! What does the dog do if the Devils win a game?”

“I don’t know,” replies the owner, “I’ve only had him for four years.”

(I’d post this at the fatherblog but I don’t want to summon the troll.)

HA! Izzy, great way to start the day. I am LMAO….and yes, I don’t even want to tell people at fatherblog to come here because for whatever lucky reason, the troll doesn’t. This is a safe zone :)
