Maine kitties

September
2

Didn’t get too spend too time with Sweeney and Todd, but as usual, they made the most of their adorableness during my visit.

That’s Todd, my snuggly buddy.

Before we resume with the kitties, I must show you this. My Mom is beyond creative…she can make anything out of just about anything. Well, when she moved from Florida she decided she didn’t like the big, brown ugly kitty tree the boys sunned on down south. So she made this:

Basically, she took a table, cut it to size for the window, covered it in a rag rug and attached a scratchy post. Now they can bask together:

Anyway, back to the boys:

Todd figured out how to leap from the window seat to the top of a dresser, then how to jump into the basket on the dresser. He cracks me up. In this next shot, he looks like a little lion cub:

Well, that’s it for now for the big guys. Mom promises to send some other great pics she has. Buy Sweeney and Todd! See you soon!

I hope all readers of Paws and Claws appreciate the beauty of your pictures and the stories they tell.Your animal tales are funny and touching and creative and I feel as if I know all of your extended four legged family. Not to mention your coverage of pets in need and programs that benefit so many of man and woman’s best friends…..that picture of Stanley…..priceless.
    Keep up the great work.

PS Tell your mother she should start taking orders for her cat table…...very creative.

Why Mothercat, thanks, you are too kind. Somebody has already e-mailed me about the cat table and it’s creativity. I’ll let you know if anyone is interested!

For most animal lovers, pets are members of the family. They carry around pictures in their wallets and schedule vacations with pets in mind. This blog takes a look into the world of a pet owner: the good, the bad and the just plain obsessive.
