Help shelter save Big Rocky

July
31

A colleague asked me to post this on behalf of the people who are trying to save the beautiful dog. If these photos don’t tug at your heart, then I don’t know what will.
This is Big Rocky:

Big Rocky recently arrived at the Adopt-A-Dog shelter in Armonk and showed immediate signs of illness. Rocky needed surgery to relieve fluid building outside his lungs. During his three-hour surgery, a wooded skewer was found embedded in his chest. Was he stabbed? Did he swallow it? No one will ever know.

The shelter is committed to bringing Rocky back to health. Your contribution to the Big Rocky Fund, large or small, would be greatly appreciated.

Donations can be made via Paypal to donation@adoptadog.org or can be mailed to

Awww—poor puppy! We will donate a portion of the proceed from the book launch and signing at Bellizzi restaurant next Saturday- This is exactly the type of things we’d like to help with.
