Hey all! How was your week? Missed the blog, but otherwise mine was fabulous, I must say, except for my Rangers on Friday. Although, hey Linda, Sally, CCCP et al, I met Beukeboom that night! Whee.

Linda now lives in Alabama, but very much misses New York during playoff hockey. Here is her adorable kitty Dixie, who Linda referred to as the Southern Sean Avery (note to non-hockey P and C folks. Avery is a Ranger. He’s a long story. ‘Nuf said).

I’d quip that Dixie is shown here exhausted after watching Game 2, but truth is Linda says this is an old pic. And Linda, that is one heck of a couch!

My pal Diane, from the previous post on feral cats, is seeking a foster home for some kitties. I don’t remember how many babies the mom has, but you can reach Diane at diterezakis@optonline.net for information.

Got this from Diane Terezakis, who does local “TNR” (trap/neuter/return) for feral cats in Westchester County. She’s hoping, in her words, “to educate the public…to motivate them into action, as well as to solicit more people to get in touch with me and other volunteer groups to TNR ferals the community sees.

Fellow Rangers fan and Rangers Report blog fan Sally sent me this photo of her cat. And here I thought I had a lock on the best cat names. Darn. Here is Princess Dubinsky, in fine attire thanks to some create computerization. Doesn’t she look like Cup?!

Yes, it’s Stanley Cup playoff time! I was amused to discover some Rangers fans talking about their cats while conversing (a loosely used word there) during the game on our Rangers Report blog here at LoHud. Seems most fans’ cats run from the room or under the bed during those times in the game when caring about your neighbors and noise just don’t matter.
