Paws 'n' Claws

The place for pets, and their owners

Tired of Stanley yet?

February
27

Hope not, cause she’s my photogenic sweetie, and I just can’t help it…Regardless, P&C fans, I do apologize for the slow week. Work, illness, etc. has kept me from my due diligence, but spring and daylight savings time (yay!) are upon us soon, so giddyup.

In the meantime, a picture……of my baby.

Long story short, cause I think I may have told this a while back (but wait for new cute pic!), but for newcomers, this is Stanley is her bed in my home office near my desk. When I got Stanley and Cup I bought two beds for them in my bedroom. As kittens they used to share one (so cute, wish I had the blog then) but then Stan gave them up and Cup now owns both.

So I bought a new, clean one (that’s another story) for the bedroom, but Cup wouldn’t have it. So I randomly placed the new one in the office, and that’s now Stan’s. Why? I don’t know. As I’ve said, it is what it is.

And now, the adorable sleeping one:

Time to turn over…(also see previous post, “Is there anything cuter than a sleeping kitty?)Again, repeat viewers, sorry for the repeat. Tomorrow, new post on first stages of a new pet, Beryl, a rescue golden retriever.

About this blog
For most animal lovers, pets are members of the family. They carry around pictures in their wallets and schedule vacations with pets in mind. This blog takes a look into the world of a pet owner: the good, the bad and the just plain obsessive.

About the author
Laurel Babcock is the Community Life editor for The Journal News, Express Publications and LoHud.com. She grew up with a beloved mutt and was surrounded by dogs into young adulthood. She liked cats enough, but didn't really think of them as true pets. That changed when her brother brought an abandoned 4-week-old kitty into the family, dooming us all. Laurel currently serves as staff for two completely adored cats, Stanley and Cup, both girls.
