Westchester Cat Show tomorrow

November
20

Sorry about the lack of posts yesterday, but I was working from home due to a construction project in my building that came to my apartment, and let’s just say that between work, squeezing in some laundry and keeping the cats from having heart attacks, well, it was a busy day.

So, in case you missed my earlier post of today’s story in The Journal News Weekend section, don’t forget about the big cat show at the County Center. Details here.

Max, the king of Boca

November
17

Thanks to my cousin Lori for (finally) sending me photos of her and husband’s dog Max.

Max was, shall we say, a wee bit of a handful at first. Family insiders believe that was because my beloved cousin Adam had trouble giving up being the lone alpha dog in the house, and ceding control to Lori, but that’s a whole other story, right cuz?

Anyway, things are much improved now down south, so I give you the cutest of the cute, Max.

I especially adore this one.

Can’t wait to see you next weekend Max!

A good example of why I hate people

November
14

Oh this story, despite it’s (relatively) happy ending makes me want to kick something, preferably the brats responsible for this.

Phew, now that I’ve gotten that off my chest, this little one is just too precious for words, and I can only hope that the broadcast on CNN means people are scrambling to provide a good home.

About the author
Laurel Babcock is the Community Life editor for The Journal News, Express Publications and LoHud.com. She grew up with a beloved mutt and was surrounded by dogs into young adulthood.
