Pet adoption drive

Oops. Meant to post this week and forgot:

This just in about a nationwide pet adoption drive, Home 4 the Holidays, for which actress Felicity Huffman and her pooch Tucker are the spokes-um-…well, they’re standing up for it.

The goal is to get at least 1 million dogs, cats and other pets in loving and happy homes over the holiday season (Oct. 1 through Jan. 5).

Home 4 the Holidays has 148 participating shelters this year in New York State. For a complete list, click here.

Or, to help the cause, go to one of the many shelters right here in our area and adopt a pet.
