The place for pets, and their owners

The Easter bunny came early!

March
14

I know I’ve got a family of bunnies living under my shed. They’ve been there for as long as I have (probably longer) and I see them every once in awhile, usually the babies venturing out on their own.

But I was very surprised to see one large wild rabbit meandering around the backyard last night. Luckily I saw it before I let my dogs out or I might still be cleaning up rabbit innards.

So here’s Mr. Bun. The picture was taken on my phone so pardon the quality.

And there goes Mr. Bun after I try to get closer for another picture.

It’s a bit hard to tell from these pictures, but that was the largest wild rabbit I’d ever seen. Apparently there’s some good eatin’ around my backyard.

Hi Sarah, This comment has nothing really to do with the bunny entry but I was familiarizing myself with the LoHUD site and I found you. I see that you have Greyhounds and I was curious to find out if they are different from the racing greyhounds that one can adopt. We have been considering adopting one but still not sure. Also, I am a photographer and every summer we do a fundraiser where the public brings their pets (mostly dogs) and for a donation of a bag of dog food they get a free photo of their pet. We call this event “Dog Days of Summer” All the donations are usually given to the Harrison Humane Society. If there is another shelter that you support we would love to donate this year’s collection to them.
    Thank you for your time.
    Sincerely,
    Aida Krgin
